- Anesthesia: Blepharoplasty is typically performed under local anesthesia with sedation or general anesthesia, ensuring your comfort and safety during the procedure.
- Incisions: The surgical technique depends on whether you are having upper eyelid surgery, lower eyelid surgery, or both:
- Upper Eyelid Surgery: Incisions are made within the natural creases of the upper eyelids, allowing for the removal of excess skin, muscle, and fat.
- Lower Eyelid Surgery: Incisions are made just below the lower lash line or inside the lower eyelid (transconjunctival approach) to remove or reposition fat and tighten the skin.

- Intermediate Recovery (1-2 Weeks): Swelling and bruising will gradually subside. Most patients can return to work and normal activities within 1-2 weeks. Makeup can be used to cover any remaining bruising.
